Today’s message tells us that God’s name has true power. Jesus lived His life to glorify God’s name and no other. His sole purpose is to proclaim God’s name. Jesus has absolute identity in God. Because Jesus knew who He was and the true power of His father, He depended on God entirely and trusted Him. And that is why Jesus was able to walk the path of the cross. Jesus became one with God. And now, the power of God’s name has been revealed to us so that we might fully trust God. God has full power now and forevermore. His name is extremely precious and holds great power and so we cannot misuse it and treat it lightly. When we call upon God’s name, we should be aware of how great the power is in His name.
